The Canadian indie duo Garçons first broke through in 2019 with their fan favourite “Ladybug,” gaining momentum with support from Pigeons & Planes and performance at Ottawa Bluesfest. A few years later, their 2021 single “Like Water” marked a clear departure to a more reflective and more intentional sound, hinting at a shift in direction before they stepped away entirely. 

What followed was a five-year hiatus where life, in all its weight, became instrumental in shaping how the new music would ultimately sound. In 2025, they returned to the studio to bring it all into focus—emerging with something deeply rugged, real and honest - a body of work shaped by self reflection.
